Promtek joins the British Ceramic Confederation

The British Ceramic Confederation is delighted to announce that Promtek, a family-run business established in Staffordshire in 1972, has become a member of the trade association for the UK ceramic industry.

As a member, the company can benefit from the advice, information and support available from sector experts, covering topics such as health and safety, energy, emissions, planning, waste management, international trade, employment law and education and training. 

Charles Williams, Managing Director of Promtek, said: “As a Potteries-based business, we are excited to join a forward-thinking trade association and strengthen our links with the ceramics industry. Membership will provide real opportunities to collaborate with the industry and utilise our knowledge, expertise and technology developments to have a positive impact on manufacturing capability, climate footprint and skills retention.”

British Ceramic Confederation Chief Executive Rob Flello said: “We are delighted to welcome another new member to the British Ceramic Confederation. We will be working closely with them as we continue to provide support for the UK ceramics sector.”

Promtek has engineering at its heart providing expertise in designing and integrating process control and automation systems for a variety of bulk material handling industries. Promtek has grown to specialise in Process Control Automation and Digitalisation, Recipe and Formulation Management Tools, Weighing and Calibration and Turn-Key System Integration.
