Our flagship Industry Decarbonisation Conference focuses on relevant initiatives and developments crucial to the UK ceramic industry’s continued decarbonisation.

As an annual event it showcases projects and activities being implemented across the sector, research into key future decarbonisation technologies, and relevant updates on Government policy. It is also an opportunity for sector stakeholders to come together, explore joint working opportunities, and recognise the positive work being undertaken by companies and individuals in helping to share available best practice and to inspire others.

Pledge Awards and Conference

For more than 20 years, the ceramic sector has been coming together to recognise and celebrate health and safety leadership, continual improvement and good practice at the annual Pledge Conference and Awards.

Join us in 2024 as we focus on mental health and wellbeing, featuring insightful speakers who will share their diverse knowledge and expertise.

We will be confirming our full programme of speakers and interactive sessions in the coming weeks.

Venue: DoubleTree by Hilton, Stoke-on-Trent

Time: Arrive at 8.30am for a 9am start

Finish: 3.30pm

 

Why enter?

We encourage all members to attend this important sector event and to consider entering the awards, which are designed to recognise success - whatever stage of your health and safety journey you are at.

How to enter:

Submit an award entry and receive recognition for your company or an individual(s) work to improve health and safety

There are several award categories to choose from for companies and individuals.

It’s simple to submit an award entry.

The deadline for the award entries is 8th June

Pledge Award categories:

Company Category Award

The Company Category Award recognises company initiatives, large or small, that drive health and safety improvement in the sector.

Individual Recognition Award

The Individual Recognition Award celebrates the efforts made by individual team members.  Individuals can be nominated in recognition of their commitment, enthusiasm and efforts to improve health and safety performance at the company.

Emerging Talent in Health & Safety Award

The Emerging Talent in Health and Safety Award is to recognise an individual’s outstanding commitment and contribution to health and safety within the ceramics sector and is intended for individuals who are early in their health and safety career.  It is a competitive award and the intention is to present 1 award ‘winner’.

Contractor Award

The Contractor Award provides the opportunity to recognise contractors for their efforts on health and safety whilst working with members and on their sites. 

Who can enter?

The Pledge Awards is open to anyone from the UK ceramics manufacturing sector.
